Misikko Hana Pro 1" Review

6.19.2013

Awhile back I was contacted by Misikko to review their Hana Pro 1" hair straightener. I've always been a person that loves straight, straight hair so I knew this product would be a perfect fit for me to trial!

I have to say that the Hana Pro is an amazing product! It made my hair so smooth and silky that I felt like I had just been at the salon! It heats fast and is so lightweight! It makes straightening my hair in the mornings just that much quicker and the results are SO much better than when I used my old hair straightener!

Here's some before {can't believe I'm showing you those!}, during and after photos to show you the amazing results of this hair straighter! This particular day I was in a bit of a hurry so the end product isn't nearly as straight as I've gotten it with the Hana Pro...but you'll get the point.

*I was compensated with a free Hana Pro but the thoughts
in this post are entirely truthful and my own*

I've Come To Realize

6.18.2013

With some new faces around here I figured I'd share some facts about myself or rather things I've noticed about myself. So, here goes.

I've come to realize...

...that I have super strange shopping tendencies. I purchase as many of my clothes on sale and clearance as possible but I don't think twice about price when buying a new Coach bag.

...that I'm obsessed with saving money. Watching our savings account grow and grow brings me more joy than I begin to explain.

...that I can't control myself when there's cheese popcorn around. Literally that stuff is like crack. #getmeanotherround

...that I'm far too nice. I really give way to much of myself to others with little in return.

...that despite dealing with my scoliosis back pain + pregnancy back pain on top of it I LOVE being pregnant. I love feeling our baby flip and move about in my belly. I love the feeling of being solely responsible for this tiny, little miracle growing inside of me.

...I'll forever be pale. Sun kissed skin is just not something I'm ever going to have. And part of me (the part that doesn't want to deal with skin cancer) is really okay with that

...that I'm obsessed with chevron. It's a mildly unhealthy obsession really.

...that I need to hire a chef. I seriously can not stand cooking every single night of the week. In fact, it kind of irritates me getting home from work & having to cook. I've attempted menu planning but my luck with it was short lived.

...that I should have been born a Southern girl. I mean I'm a burlap, tea, rodeo, monogram loving girl just like the rest of y'all. I just need the constant warmth and Southern drawl to go with it.

...that I really need to be healthier. Like seriously, Stormy. Get on the healthy living band wagon already.

...I'll never be a wine drinker. I think I'm just meant to chug margaritas...when not preggo of course.

...I have NO tolerance for know it all people. Like I just want to deck them in the face. And that's no lie.

...I'm obsessed with a few things in life: my husband, my wedding, our bambino, my family, decorating, cappuccinos, and sunshine. Just to name a few.
